The HD Discovery Station is an immersive digital exhibit designed and installed by MESO Digital Interiors for the Kurpfälzisches Museum Heidelberg in 2020 (https://meso.design/en/news/high-definition-portal-to-ancient-times). The first version featured the Celtic and Roman settlements of the region and September 2022 saw the addition of an entirely new period: the 1619 renaissance city and the famous siege of 1622.
Together with MESO and the Kurpfälzisches Museum, we brought the renaissance city back to life in this latest phase of development.

My part - as the post pretty much sums it up was to create all the vegetation during that period and all foliage related workflows, plus some work on the landscape & all the fields. The beautiful city, landscape and some of the hero props were done by Historic VR's absolutely amazing team, very happy that we could deliver this project together. You can find them all here:
